EUIPO and EUROCROWD Join Forces to Launch “CrowdIP” Initiative

by EUROCROWD on 12.10.2023

Brussels, 12 October – EUIPO is proud to announce its collaboration with EUROCROWD, the official partner for the groundbreaking "CrowdIP" initiative. This strategic partnership underscores the shared commitment to bolster intellectual property (IP) awareness and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and investors across Europe.

EUROCROWD's dedicated efforts will be further reinforced through the "CrowdIP" initiative, a year-long European awareness-raising campaign on intellectual property. This campaign, co-financed by EUIPO, marks a pivotal step in enhancing IP knowledge and understanding. It will primarily focus on EUROCROWD's Strategic Group countries, including Italy, Spain, and Germany.

One of the cornerstones of the "CrowdIP" initiative lies in its extensive network of Boosters, who will play a pivotal role in disseminating crucial IP insights and expertise. Among these esteemed Boosters are Fondazione Fenice, ART-ER, WeAreStarting, SCAI Comunicazione, Gateway49, and Alicante Startups. Their involvement highlights the collective commitment to fostering innovation and IP protection within the European business landscape.

The official launch of the CrowdIP initiative took off in October, marked by the unveiling of the CrowdIP website. This initiative will feature a robust online and offline campaign, designed to engage and educate businesses and investors alike across the three target countries.

EUROCROWD extends an invitation to its members who are eager to explore the opportunities and benefits offered by the CrowdIP initiative, the IP and Finance working group, and the broader Ideas Powered for Business Network.
