On 6 September 2022 EUROCROWD will join the Startup Ole 2022 taking place in Salamanca, Spain from 5 to 7 September.  

Startup Ole is the largest tech event in Europe outside the capital cities, gathering startups, corporates, investors, accelerators, public administration, media, universities, and local action groups, among others, from all over the world. The 8th edition of this event will allow all attendees to get in touch with the best players, create long-lasting and rewarding relationships, and discover startups in a wide range of verticals with incredible technologies. Furthermore, the content offered in the event will be free and open to the public, and people that cannot join the on-site event will be able to follow the round tables and pitch competitions online. EUROCROWD, together with experts from public authorities and startups, will participate in a round table on 6 September to discuss the public-private collaboration to promote innovation in rural development, one of the working groups the Spanish Strategic Group focuses on. 

In this round table, we will give an overview of the role of alternative finance like crowdfunding in boosting innovation, explaining the development of innovation programmes at a regional level and the use of European Structural Funds in combination with crowdfunding. Besides EUROCROWD will showcase the main aspects regarding public and private Matchfunding.
