Ivona joined Allianceblock in September 2022 as a general counsel. Before this, he worked in Eurocrowd as Senior Researcher and Project Manager with a focus on developing projects and policy activities related to the blockchain and crypto-asset markets. Besides, she manages EU-funded projects and devotes time to policy initiatives. Ivona obtained a doctoral degree in equity crowdfunding and initial coin offerings from Tilburg University in 2020. She gained an extensive teaching experience in corporate law, entrepreneurial finance, and negotiation at the same university. In 2018, Ivona joined the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum as a member of the Policy group and in 2020 she was admitted to the Academic Advisory Board of INATBA (International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications), where she contributes in the field of crypto-assets, finance, regulatory frameworks and token offerings.
