EUROCROWD’s “Equity Crowdfunding” Panel at the EU-Startups Summit 2025! #14th CrowdCon

The countdown is on! On April 24-25, 2025, the 11th edition of the EU-Startups Summit is set to take place in sunny Malta – and with that our 14th CrowdCon. This year’s event will bring together 2,400 founders, investors, and startup enthusiasts for two days of learning, networking, and inspiration, making it one of the most important gatherings in Europe’s startup ecosystem.

EUROCROWD has been at the forefront of professional crowdfunding development and is keen to expand our reach to the European startup ecosystem. We are proud to sponsor the EU-Startups Summit 2025, one of the key networking events for the professional investment community and startups, supported by the European Innovation Council and others.

One of our key discussions year will focus on equity crowdfunding—a transformative way for startups to raise capital while actively engaging with their communities. But with great opportunity comes great responsibility. We are hosting an expert panel discussion: Equity Crowdfunding: Dos & Don’ts featuring leading voices in professional crowdfunding, investment regulation, and venture funding.

With regulatory oversight, strict investor protection and prudential compliance, crowdfunding under ECSPR is turning into a key opportunity for SME and startups. Crowdfunding under ECSPR is part of the European Capital Markets and offers for the first time in many years a clear alternative to risky gray capital market actors. What does this mean for startups and SMEs?
