Eurocrowd is pleased to participate in the ESIL Annual Event: Business Angels and Deeptech, taking place at the European Commission’s Covent Garden Building in Brussels. As part of our work with ESIL and its partners, we will engage with leading innovation actors, investors, and researchers to explore the future of angel investing in Europe.
This two-day event offers a unique opportunity to network, exchange insights, and learn from experts across biotech, medtech, and deeptech sectors. Attendees can choose to participate in one or both days:
2 December – Networking Day
Kick off with an in-person networking session connecting peers, innovation actors, and early-stage investors across Europe. Panel discussions will focus on:
- Building Bridges in Biotech and Medtech: Successful collaborations between research teams and innovation actors
- Advancing Deeptech Collaboration: Challenges and future directions for partnerships
The day concludes with a networking cocktail, providing an informal space to build connections.
3 December – Conference & Workshops
The main conference gathers top speakers from the EIC, Business Angel networks, incubators, accelerators, and deeptech leaders. Highlights include:
- Presentation of the latest ESIL initiative results
- Discussions on pan-European investment and collaboration tools
- Interactive workshops on nurturing the next generation of Business Angels and designing cross-border co-investment structures
Panel and workshop themes include:
- Building a Stronger Angel Community: Diversity and capacity in European business investing
- From Lab to Launch: Early collaboration between angels, innovation actors, and research teams
- Exploring Sector-Focused Angel Investing: Trends across verticals and geographies
