Our next Mastering ECSP webinar is taking place on 27 April 2022, at 17.00 CET, and during this session we will take a closer look at Tax treatment for project owners, platforms and investors. Tax matters, even though very relevant, have been largely underrepresented in the crowdfunding discussions. With ECSP in force, we can expect that tax matters for crowdfunding campaigns become even more relevant due to the increased number of cross-border offerings that ECSP will facilitate.

During the webinar we will unravel the questions such as how and in which country to tax the income from the campaigns or the income generated by the instruments purchased in the crowdfunding offerings.

Joining us as our esteemed speaker is Dr. Mathias Link. Dr. Mathias Link is a tax partner at PwC' Frankfurt office. Dr. Link advises German and international banks, financial services providers, corporations and private equity funds comprehensively on (international) tax matters. He is admitted to the German bar as well as to the New York bar and is also qualified as a German tax advisor. Johannes Edlbacher, Partner at PwC Austria and Kerstin Boernecke, Director at PwC Luxembourg will also join the discussion.

The webinar will be moderated by Ivona Skultetyova, our senior research and project manager and Oliver Gajda, EUROCROWD’s executive director.
