Cynthia Echave is an architect and urban planner specialised in urban ecology. She possesses a Doctorate degree in Energy and Environment from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Her professional career is characterised by an active participation in strategic projects under an ecosystemic criterion mainly related to sustainable urbanism,  livability and wellbeing. She is leading the ETU Initiative under the framework of the Interreg MED Renewable Energy project dedicated to energy transition with a holistic approach. She is Senior Researcher at Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) in charge of knowledge transferring and capitalisation projects involving research around ecology, sustainability, energy transition and climate change in the Mediterranean and Africa.
