EUROCROWD is happy to contribute for the third time to the discussions at the Alternative Finance Forum, 26 & 27 April 2023, Thessaloniki. The conference is organized under the auspices of the European Investment Bank Institute (EIB Institute) and EIB Group (EIB). Over 30 innovators and thought leaders from the fintech and social capital sectors will share their ideas and innovative solutions, leveraging new technologies and design principles to develop sustainable financial services through user experience-based design and novel business models.

The Alternative Finance Forum plays a key role in shaping the understanding of innovation in financial services, such as digital identity and client onboarding, open and decentralized finance, enterprise finance solutions for SMEs, and new fintech business models. The discussion will also focus on financial solutions in applying capital to solve social and environmental problems: green and climate finance, impact investing, alternative currencies and circular economies, and new social finance niches and clusters.

EUROCROWD Executive Director, Oliver Gajda, will lead a panel on fintech business models aligned with European regulation, such as EU regulated payment services, electronic money institutions and crowdfunding services. The panel will be joined by EUROCROWD member Christopher Grätz, Co-Founder & CEO, Invesdor as well as George Platanas, Country Director Greece, Seedblink; Eleni Vlami, Head of Growth, Pleo, Women Of Fintech Member; Alin Latu, Country Manager Romania, iBanFirst.
