Engaging young adults through crowdfunding: join a replication event in Greece, Spain or Portugal
Young adults in the current precarious EU labour market need guidance and support in their career beginnings. This situation is particularly challenging for those coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. For this reason, we have been participating in the InCrowd project, which aims to support young adults between 18 and 30 to carry out their ideas through crowdfunding campaigns.
After two years of project implementation, we are pleased to organise three project replication workshops in Athens, Barcelona and Lisbon in partnership with our members Crowdpolicy, Goteo and PPL. These workshops will showcase the methodology used during the InCrowd project to facilitate replication and expand the results already obtained in Belgium, Malta and Croatia.
If you are an organisation or public authority based in Greece, Spain or Portugal aiming to increase the opportunities for young adults, join the workshop and learn how crowdfunding can foster opportunities for young adults at risk of marginalisation:
- Athens: 8 February 2022
- Barcelona: 30 March 2022
- Lisbon: 21 March 2022
If interested, contacts us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and you will receive further details.
The INCrowd project wants to offer disadvantaged young people a new and innovative tool to make their voices heard and enjoy the opportunity to participate as engaged and committed people in developing more inclusive and active communities and cities. It does so by offering crowdfunding as a disruptive and powerful instrument for starting a social innovation project, collecting funds, and engaging citizens.
