PhD in Economics and Business Administration and Master in Advanced Management from the University of Deusto (Bilbao-Spain), where he worked for 14 years. Over the last 30 years he has developed a solid experience in the management of non-profit organisations. From 2008 to 2017, he was General Director of the Anesvad Foundation. For 9 years he worked as an international consultant for different programmes and initiatives of the United Nations, other international organisations, NGOs, research centres, and companies. Senior consultant at Stone Soup Consulting (B Corp), Social Value International accredited practitioner in measuring social impact, evaluator of Euskalit (Basque Agency for Quality Management) in quality management, and Diploma as Ontological Coach by the Universidad del Desarrollo (Santiago de Chile). Founding member and ex Vice-President of the Spanish Association for Social Impact Measurement, ESIMPACT. Co-author of the first study on the state of the art of social impact measurement and management in Spain, "Luces y sombras de la medición del impacto social enEspaña" (Lights and shadows of social impact measurement in Spain).
