EUROCROWD Becomes an Official Partner of the New European Bauhaus Initiative
EUROCROWD is thrilled to announce its role among the official partners of The New European Bauhaus (NEB), a newborn initiative managed by the European Commission with the aim of transforming today’s society focusing on three core values: sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion. The objective is to promote and inspire a positive change in our living spaces, making them more inclusive and sustainable. It is a movement that participates at all levels, including different disciplines and backgrounds to solve complex societal issues.
In this framework, NEB becomes a platform for experts, institutions, and businesses to connect, share opinions and cooperate to plan and create a new sustainable way of living in Europe. By taking part in this movement, EUROCROWD will be to inform and advise the 431 official members of the NEB network, as well as its broader community, about the potential of crowdfunding as an innovative funding option, and to represent the point of view of the alternative finance industry, highlighting key financial literacy elements.
EUROCROWD is further committed to supporting this project by:
- Gathering a diversity of professionals to generate ideas
- Identifying inspirational projects, practices, or concepts
- Engaging with citizens to discuss and collect needs and expectations
EUROCROWD’s Head of Regional Development, Mauricio O’Brien, has already participated in one of the initiative’s working sessions on Crowdfunding last Friday 4th March. This session allowed participants to better understand which initiatives and schemes they can co-design together regarding Crowdfunding in combination with public funds.
Among the next steps and events of the initiative, the Festival of the New European Bauhaus will take place in Brussels and will be streamed online from 9 to 12 June 2022, with side events being organised across the EU. The Festival will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, giving them the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
