The Professional Association of Financial Service Providers as part of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber represent all Austrian financial service providers, such as Austrian crowdinvesting platforms, by law. The association played a key role in the introduction of the Austrian crowdinvesting law, the Alternativfinanzierungsgesetz, back in 2015. Since then, the association and its members have further developed the existing regime, set new industry standards by introducing voluntary codes of conduct and helped make crowdinvesting more popular in Austria. Now we are expecting what changes the European Crowdfunding Regulation will bring to the European and Austrian crowdinvesting markets.
