The FVG Region has included crowdfunding among the next instruments to be implemented at a local level, through its new approved reform (Provisions for modernisation, growth and sustainable development towards a new economy in Friuli Venezia Giulia – in short: SviluppoImpresa). No participation mechanisms in crowdfunding platforms are foreseen by the moment, but it is estimated that a feasibility study on this point will be soon proposed.
SviluppoImpresa (Regional Law 3 of 22 February 2021), art. 26 foresees:
In order to encourage the raising of additional capital for the development of regional start-ups, the following contribution budget lines consider the costs linked to the use of crowdfunding platforms as eligible expenses:
(a) incentives for newly established companies under Article 42 bis of Regional Law No 12 of 22 April 2002;
b) Incentives under Article 100 of Regional Law 29/2005;
(c) incentives for innovation in the form of vouchers as referred to in Article 20 of Regional Law 3/2015;
(d) incentives for innovative start-ups under Article 23 of Regional Law 3/2015;
(e) incentives for young entrepreneurs under Article 20 of Regional Law 5/2012;
(f) incentives for women entrepreneurship as per Article 2, paragraph 85 of Regional Law 11 August 2011, n.11
