Webinar on Impact Crowdfunding: Digital Financing Strategies For Social Entrepreneurship in Germany (Sept 7)

by Joan Segura on 30.08.2021

Social entrepreneurs are committed to solving social and environmental challenges. The success of such enterprises is measured primarily by their social impact, not by their financial success. Nevertheless, social entrepreneurs also need financial resources to be able to implement their goals. Alternative financing instruments such as crowdfunding offer an optimal complement to classic channels, especially since they also give them a higher public profile.

In cooperation with Social Entrepreneurship Netzwerk Deutschland e.V. (SEND), EUROCROWD is organising an online webinar on September 7 that will focus on highlighting mechanisms from crowdfunding platforms, regional-state banks, impact investors and entities that can illustrate how they are interconnected. Additionally, the session will bring together platforms and entities which can set up different vehicles to achieve greater social impact and work together to foster follow-on investments.

Experience the concentrated load of good practice examples from the areas of venture philanthropy, match-funding and impact investing. Scientific insights are promised by the latest research reports:

The event will be held in German.

Tuesday, 7 September 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
