Perrine is a senior investment manager in the Inclusive Finance Division of the European Investment Fund. She has over fifteen years’ experience in inclusive finance in emerging countries and in Europe. Her expertise spans from the appraisal and monitoring of the financial and social performance of finance providers, to structuring debt, guarantee and equity transactions with finance providers and social investment funds, as well as designing and evaluating technical assistance in favour of financial institutions.
She previously worked as senior investment officer for seven years in the Microfinance Unit of the European Investment Bank, covering sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa. Before joining the EIB Group in 2009, Perrine was a senior rating analyst and the Africa office manager at MicroRate, a microfinance specialised rating agency. In 2004, she started her career in microfinance as program officer at ADA, the Luxembourg-based microfinance support organisation.
Perrine holds a Master degree with a major in Finance from the Audencia Nantes Ecole de Management (France). She is a French national, fluent in English, German and Spanish with basic knowledge of Russian and Arabic.
