Since April 2019, Thomas Dünser is heading the Office for Financial Market Innovation, which is responsible for supporting financial companies in innovation matters. This also includes innovating national framework conditions for innovative companies. Before, he was a senior consultant to the prime minister of Liechtenstein. He was responsible for innovation and digitalization topics within the ministry of finance and was the project leader of the “Blockchain-Act” in Liechtenstein. Prior to joining the ministry of public affairs and finance he was working in the financial sector as entrepreneur and head of group asset & liability management at VP Bank in Vaduz. He holds a PhD in engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute in Zurich.
