Laurence Attuel-Mendès is Director Institutional Relations & Governance, professor of Law at Burgundy School of Business after being a lecturer at University in Paris and Dijon (1999-2004). She is member of the Board of Trustees of COMUE UBFC (public institution that merges universities higher education entities at a regional scale). She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Paris 2 (Panthéon-Assas) and is an expert on legal aspects of business. In addition, notably as a researcher of Banque Populaire Chair in Microfinance of Burgundy School of Business, she co-authored several articles in international journals and book chapters in crowdfunding, microfinance and marketing. She participates regularly in major conferences in these areas and is interested in crowdfunding (connections with banks, motivation of crowdfunder…), regulatory issues of microfinance and marketing – such as regulatory constraints in retail or banking. Her field of research covers mainly crowdfunding and legal aspects of marketing about banking on the Internet as well.
