Blockchain has the potential to change the financial markets dramatically. Today companies in the financial services industry have to embrace the opportunities offered by the new technology if they do not want to risk being driven out of future markets. At the same time, the IT industry must develop secure and professional solutions. ECN Chairwomen, Christin Friedrich and Chair of the ECN multi-stakeholder working group Exploring Blockchain for Alternative Finance is speaking at the 3rd Annual Conference “Blockchain Technology – Revolutionary Impact” of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. The conference will embrace topics such as:

ECN is addressing blockchain innovation in alternative finance on 13-14 June 2019 – together with the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics (HTW) and Sirius Minds at our 4th ECN CrowdCamp “Exploring Blockchain for Alternative Finance” in Berlin. This time, we aim at reflecting emerging and established trends around blockchain for the crowdfunding sector and identifying opportunities and challenges of implementing blockchain technologies. The event is being developed jointly with the ECN Exploring Blockchain for Alternative Finance multi-stakeholder working group, established with the aim of reflecting emerging and established trends around blockchain for the crowdfunding sector and identifying opportunities and challenges of implementing blockchain technologies.
