James Parkinson, Programme Manager at Greater London Authority


James Parkinson has a background in architecture and urban design and has worked for ten years in regeneration and urban policy in both Yorkshire and London. Currently, he is a Programme Manager in the Greater London Authority Regeneration Team, working to deliver place-based investment projects, develop strategic regeneration programmes and support good design in the capital through research to inform policy. Recently he has led the development of Crowdfund London; an internationally recognised, £5m initiative to support citizen-led regeneration and explore how crowdfunding can foster civic participation and democracy in urban development.
