With the 4th ECN Crowdfunding Convention only a few weeks away, the European Crowdfunding Network is happy to release the detailed agenda of the event, which will gather some 250 actors from the pan-European crowdfunding ecosystem and various high level speakers, such as the Chair of ESMA, Steven Maijoor, and Jean-Christophe Fromantin, Member of French Parliament.
The Convention will cover topics from Capital Markets Union and its impact on equity and lending markets to the challenges and opportunities for the European crowdfunding sector, its legal frameworks and its current and upcoming applications in different fields.
In particular, ECN will bring for the first time together different national regulators, like the French Authorité des Marches Financiers (AMF), the Italian Securities and Exchange Commission (CONSOB), the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin, TBC) and the Austrian Ministry of Economy, to discuss crowdfunding within the Capital Markets Union. ECN works closely with the European Commission to achieve a positive framework for crowdfunding in Europe, which does not yet harmonize the sector sufficiently within the existing set of rules. The 4th ECN Crowdfunding Convention will thus give the opportunity to discuss in depth this decision and explore different scenarios directly with the relevant national and European policymakers and stakeholders.
With all its networking occasions and debates actively involving the audience too, the ECN Crowdfunding Convention is a must event for any stakeholder in the crowdfunding ecosystem willing to network and discuss the present and the future of this growing industry with international decision-makers, investors, policymakers and crowdfunding platform managers.
